Tata Motors has introduced the Tata Curvv EV, a new addition to its electric vehicle lineup, priced between ₹17.49 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This coupe SUV is available in five variants: Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished, and Empowered. It can be purchased through Tata’s digital showrooms or EV-only dealerships. The Curvv EV is Tata’s fifth electric car and its flagship battery-powered model. An ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) version will also be launched soon

The Tata Curvv EV boasts a striking coupe SUV design, featuring connected LED DRL bars, LED headlamps, squared-off wheel arches, 18-inch alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, and body cladding. The rear includes a sloping roofline and LED tail lamps. With a ground clearance of 190 mm and a water wading capacity of 450 mm, the Tata Curvv EV is designed for versatility. Safety

The Curvv EV is designed to achieve a 5-star rating in the BNCAP crash test. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, a 360-degree parking camera, an electronic stability program, an electric parking brake, and front parking sensors

Performance and Range

The Curvv EV offers two battery pack options: 45 kWh and 55 kWh. The 45 kWh variant has a claimed range of 502 km, while the 55 kWh variant offers 585 km (both ARAI-tested). Tata Motors has also developed a real-world range standard called C75, estimating the 45 kWh variant’s range between 330 km and 350 km, and the 55 kWh variant’s range between 400 km and 425 km. The vehicle supports vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging, with a charging time of 40 minutes from 10 to 80 percent using a 70 kW+ fast charger. The electric motor produces 167 hp, achieving 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds
